shawty is da sh*t…

nuttin’ i wanted to say. i just like that song, “shawty is the sh*t” — seems ignorant but is very cute, to the point and funny. finally, a catchy, silly radio song that is non-derogatory towards females. don’t get me wrong, “shake it like a saltshaker” is a musical classic — ok, it’s great to dance to — but, the lyrics are nasty. and no, i am not here to censor anybody. i just wanted to say it’s refreshing to hear a sweet, complimentary song that is simple without being lewd.

plus, i think fab wrote that song about me. i mean put the clues together…feisty, pisces, likes her food spicy?! that’s me, man! sure, they didn’t bother putting my name in the rollcall, but i think that was just to throw people off…

hey, let a girl talk crazy every once in a while (ok, every day for me).

anais nin has a cool a$$ name, dontcha think?

hi peepz! well, i’m back…sorta. had a great time in toronto (thx, bindras!!) and am back in the swing of things at work. i’m not back on this blog yet tho, cuz i don’t wanna just post bs entries.

but anais nin is cool as sh*t — she’s one of my favorite authors and a very sassy and intelligent chick…hmm, sounds like a lotta women i personally know!! she also wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and think differently (yes, it’s differently, not different like in the grammatically-challenged apple ads from a few years ago. but, i digress. here are some fabulous quotations from anais (mizz nin if you’re feisty). yes, i’m corny. but i have the best intentions. below are some of my faves.
